What is a Sādu Crew?
Enter an activity directly into Sādu, and/or sync their smart watch to see earn trees every time they play a sport or get outdoors. Earn enough trees and get rewarded with NFTs.
Every tree earned in the app is a form of funding for the ecosystem restoration and conservation. Ecosystem Partners include WeForest, The Haiti Tree Project, Greenstand, ReClimate, SeaTrees, Trees for the Future, and Planted. They maintain projects in Brazil, Tanzania, California, Southern Africa and Germany, respectively. Each organization has a specific methodology that is used to implement nature based carbon removal.

How do I set up a Crew on Sadu?
1) Download sadu.app and complete the tutorial by choosing “Let’s Go.”
2) Navigate to the community tab.
3) Select Create Crew on the upper right hand side of the screen.
4) Select the maximum number of members you would like to run your challenge with.
7) Choose your Crew name.
8) Choose your start date for the 30-day challenge.
9) Select your favorite Ecosystem Partner to earn trees for.
10) Select Create Crew!
Your crew will appear on the leaderboard under the Community tab on your assigned start date.
- You will now be able to upload your Crew Logo so that it will be displayed on the Community leaderboard.
- At any point you can retrieve your Crew information(e.g. Crew Number and Start Date) by returning to “Manage Crew” under the Community tab.
- Share your Crew number or name with friends by selecting “Invite Friends” under the “Manage Crew” screen. This will copy a link to the Sādu app as well as your Crew number to easily share via text or email.
Once the Crew is active anyone can click on the tile to see who started the Crew and who is on the team. Crews are ranked by the number of trees contributed per person and are displayed on a leaderboard within the app. Those who use the app can also see their personal progress and choose to display it on a separate leaderboard designed for individuals. Individual progress is measured separately from the total number of trees planted on a Crew.
